WaterFord began building homes in 1987. After having worked for large builders-
building big homes on small lots - Thom Wilson wanted to create a community of fine homes
on spacious lots -- lots that would reflect the aura of the community as well as the fine
craftsmanship of each custom home. with that, WaterFord was born in Fredericksburg, VA.
Forty five homes on more than 150 acres gave a sense of community yet allowed room for
each homes to retain its individuality. Since that time, only larger lots in the finer
communities have been sought out for the most discriminating of buyers - our buyers.
WaterFord's reputation for quality, value, and service have brought in requests from
buyers o build on their lots in: Fairfax, Prince William, Warrenton, Stafford, and
Spotsylvania, as well as custom designed waterfront locations wherever they can.
"The Willows" is WaterFord's newest project. conveniently located off the Prince
William County Parkway, it reflects Thom Wilson's concept of larger lots with the
convenience of public water, sewer, gas, and sidewalks. Tremendous old hardwoods envelope
the neighborhood where 38 custom homes will be built on 45 park-like acres.
WaterFord remains the same, small company building eight to twelve homes per year. this
limited number of homes gives us the opportunity to address the needs and concerns of of
each individual owner, while passing on the savings of diminished company overhead.
